It’s great to see 3D Pinball available on so many more platforms without the need for compatibility layers or virtual machines.

I played the Wii port for a while, and it’s a lot of fun - it would have been a top download on the Wii Shop back in the day, for sure.
Game consoles aren’t missing out on Pinball, either - there’s a Wii and 3DS version by ‘MaikelChan,’ a Nintendo Switch port by ‘averne,’ a Wii U port by ‘ItriguingTiles,’ and finally a PS Vita game by Mike Santiago (‘Axiom’).

There’s also a version in development for older PowerPC-based Mac computers (and PPC Linux), but no releases are available yet.

The Android game doesn’t require downloading the original files from elsewhere, unlike most of the other ports. There’s a web-based version, an Android port by Federico Matteoni (which just received an update), and even a release for LG’s webOS-based smart TVs.

If you're a real pinball fan, cave in a buy a commercial game instead of settling for this free watered down version of pinball.Since the reverse-engineered version was first published almost two years ago, other developers have brought 3D Pinball to more platforms. All of its other features are done much better in commercial games. The best thing that Space Cadet Pinball has going for it is that it's free. If you're going to play this game, I'd suggest running a CD instead of relying on the in-game sounds. There are only sound effects, and no main theme in the game.
There's the expected bells and whistles, which are more annoying than exciting. Again, controls are mainly using the simple flippers to control the movement of the ball, but you can select which one of the three available missions to complete before entering. The sounds are typical of a low-budget game. If you want to give yourself a task for gaining more points, 3D Pinball: Space Cadet does just that. Lighting is critical for a pinball game - you need to be able to see the ball at all times. Parts of the table are not illuminated enough. Graphically, Space Cadet Pinball is a bit darker than you'd like to see from a typical pinball table. They just shoot the ball back at your flipper. Almost all of the point scoring therefore has to come from hitting ramps, which don't even do anything special. Discover all of this albums music connections, watch videos, listen to music. The easiest pattern of play is to use the left flipper just as the ball is entering the flipper, to pop it onto the launch ramp. Meaning, only one game screen for the entire game type of traditional.
